Factory layout planning is an important element for ensuring continuous product flow and reaching customers on time. A successful factory layout designed according to lean principles can prevent production fluctuations and significantly increase plant efficiency and production flexibility.

If the layout plans are created away from the flow principle, this issue can be a constant bottleneck for facilities such as production and storage. Before creating the layout plan of the facilities, the ideal flow of the product and the future strategies of the enterprise should be taken into consideration. The facility flow plan should be prepared with minimum movement and minimum transportation target.
