MODULE 1 - BASIC LEVEL LEAN MANUFACTURING TRAININGS

M1/01

Basic Lean Manufacturing

This training covers both theoretical and practical applications laying the foundations of Lean Manufacturing, the first step of the development journey. With this work participants clearly understand how Lean Manufacturing differs from traditional production methods and gain the basic skills needed for workshop practice. This training is delivered together with the M1-02 Lean manufacturing tools conveyor line exercise.

Participant Profile: Participants of any level who want basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing can attend this training.
Duration: Half day Get details →
M1/02

Lean Manufacturing Tools – Conveyor Line Exercise

A workshop held hands-on on a conveyor line structure, built around creating flow, the main principle of Lean explained in the basic theoretical training, and developing the eye for detecting waste. In this workshop participants learn by experiencing how to detect the 7 basic wastes and the importance of work standards.

Participant Profile: Participants of any level who want basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing can attend this training.

M1/03

Lean Techniques and Integration – Cell-Type Line Exercise

For participants who have basic Lean Manufacturing theory and waste awareness, this workshop demonstrates hands-on the integration of lean techniques into the production line, focusing on techniques that can produce effective results in participants' own work areas. Based on a leaned cell manufacturing example, kaizen topics important for factories, such as work analysis and balancing of all operations, increasing production efficiency, reducing headcount, improving quality level and reducing space use, are delivered hands-on.

Participant Profile: Shop floor leaders and managers who have attended trainings M1/01-02 or who have awareness of Basic Lean Manufacturing topics should attend.
Duration: 1 day Get details →
M1/04

Visual Management and Line Setup Basics

The most motivating implementation step in integrating Lean tools is usually line visualization work. If Visual Management is set up without the basic principles, problems arise in not being able to use the tools correctly and not being able to turn them into a cultural activity. This training focuses particularly on the functions of 5S activities together with the correct methods of using visual management and visual control tools to create effective results. Since these techniques are very important in visual factory work, the basic requirements for line / cell setup are among the topics this training especially focuses on.

Participant Profile: Shop floor leaders and managers who have basic Lean Manufacturing knowledge and are applying 5S activities or have awareness of these topics should attend.
